Tuvalu was lucky enough to work on the design behind one of John Wayne Airport’s newest additions, the Hobie Sand Bar, which opens today!
Named after the pioneer of foam surfboards, Hobie Alter, this surf-themed beach bar offers cocktails and some of Hobie’s favorite foods with a healthy twist. The interiors are filled with stunning photographs of Hobie’s many creative inventions, such as the Hobie Cat and 33′ racing monohull, and stories of his life growing up at the beach.
