It’s time to clean up the grill and get it ready for BBQ season! It’s the perfect weather to be outside grilling and spending time in the backyard. Make sure you’re backyard is ready for you and the summer season ahead. If it’s not we’ve got 3 quick tips to help you get your backyard space ready. 1. Get Grillin’ First things first, make sure the grill is ready to go. Over the winter the grill wasn’t getting too much use, or any at all, so it’s going to need a quick clean. Dust off the cobwebs, clean off the dirt and fill up the propane tank. Now when that perfect warm evening comes along you can hit the grill and enjoy a nice dinner in the backyard. 2. Cover Up It gets a little hot out when the sun is coming down on you so make sure you’ve got some shade to retreat to. We’re talking about a big umbrella, an awning or a deck covering. However you get your shade, you’re going to be thankful you’re standing in it enjoying a cold, crisp lemonade. 3. Table Space One thing you can never have enough of in the backyard is table space. It’s especially useful when it comes to cooking. Get yourself a table that can handle the load and provide enough space not only for cooking and food, but for guests as well.
It’s so beautiful outside today we had no choice but to post about how to take advantage of this weather. It feels like summer’s already come here in Southern California. We apologize for all our friends and family that are covered in snow, you really should be out here! For those of you that are here, you better be outside reading this on your laptop! Unless you’re here for a few tips on how to enjoy the great outdoors. Let’s get this started.
1. Get outdoor furniture.
First, and foremost, you’re going to need somewhere to sit and gather. This will give you a space to be outside and enjoy the weather. It can be a full outdoor furniture set or just a pair of chairs. It all depends how many people will be out there enjoying the day with you. The more the merrier in our opinion!
2. Get an outdoor rug.
3. Get your garden on.
Give yourself something to do while you’re outside! It’s a great way to work on your tan, be active and possibly grow something edible. If you have a green thumb and space, why not start up a fun garden? If your gardening skill or space is limited you can always opt for a smaller, easier garden set up, like Michelle’s pictured above.
