:: DIY: Make A Simple Coastal Wreath ::

Tuesday Tips

Are all those other wreaths out there not quite for you? Well, it’s time to take matter into your own hands! You need to make your own coastal wreath and we’ve got a guide for you. Most DIY projects end up being more than you bargained for and turn out to be a massive headache. Well let’s avoid all of that with our simple coastal wreath guide.

Get yourself an already made wreath. It will save you time, hassle and it’s ready to go. All you’re going to have to do is super glue a few things onto it, which makes your life easy. We picked out a plain wreath already equipped with a few pine cones. Next grab yourself some ribbon. We found this cute jute ribbon that’s perfect for our coastal wreath. We also picked out these festive pine and ornament picks to bring some more holiday cheer to the wreath. What coastal wreath would be complete without a few starfish from yours truly? We have baskets and baskets of shells, but remember – simple. Last but not least, you’ve gotta hang this wreath! So we picked out a brass door hook to hang the wreath with.

There you have it. A simple, coastal wreath. If you want to take your wreath to the next level feel free. We won’t stop you, but for those of you looking for a quick DIY coastal wreath you’re done and ready to show off this festive decor. We’ve got all the links to make this coastal wreath below. Have fun!

:: Halloween Projects for the Family ::

Feature Friday

Halloween is right around the corner, so why not have some fun this weekend with the family? It’s time to get ready for crafts! We found two crafts that we thought would be great for the family, especially the kids! The first project is from Pretty Handy Girl and shows you how to make some fun and decorative pumpkins using fabric and toilet paper. These are great for Halloween decor and home decor. The best part is they can easily be used for Thanksgiving decorations as well. They’re pretty easy to make and look great! Check them out here!

The second project we found will give your house that spooky, festive look on Halloween night. This project is brought to us by eighteen25. This is another  simple halloween project that only requires a few milk jugs, a marker, a string of Christmas lights and some creative drawing. Grab some markers and let the kids go to town! They’ll be excited to put them outside and when Halloween night comes the neighbors will  know you’re ready for some trick-or-treaters. Get the guide by going here!

Have some family fun this weekend and give yourself those last minute Halloween decorations! Have fun and happy friday!
