:: Art About Laguna Beach ::

Standard

Feature Friday

If you haven’t been to Heisler park lately, it’s time you head over there and check out all the eclectic art that’s in the park. The park itself is spectacular and is located on the ocean in the heart of Laguna Beach.  When Tuvalu was built in 2003, we commissioned local artist Larry Gill to design a fountain on the property. Not only does this reflect our appreciation of Laguna’s art history, but this was also created in memory of Tuvalu founders brother Brian who sadly is no longer with us. Brian called Laguna home and loved our great community.

Some more art at Heisler Park.

:: Eat Well and Give Back This Weekend ::

Standard

Feature Friday

It’s finally here! The Revlon Run/Walk is tomorrow, Saturday, May 12. There’s still time to sign up and it looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day to celebrate those who have fought and continue to fight against women’s cancer. Bring mom and walk with Tuvalu by joining the The Barbara Molinaro Friendship Team. Read our previous post, here, for more details.

For those of you staying local with mom this weekend, eat well and give back at the Laguna Beach Food Truck Festival benefiting the CHOC Children’s Foundation. Trucks with names like The Grilled Cheese Truck and Dogzilla are making our mouths water right now! They’ll be pulling up at the Laguna Culinary Arts building near the Sawdust Festival at around 11:30am. Don’t forget the sunscreen, it’s going to be HOT! Happy weekend everyone!
