The iSanctuary volleyball tourney was this last weekend and it went great! Tuvalu Home was a sponsor for the event and donated these 1st place trophy plaques that turned out so wonderful! This fun tournament/fundraiser was such a blast and everyone had good time on and off the volleyball courts! We were so happy to take part in this fundraiser and enjoyed helping out. iSanctuary helps rehabilitate and reintegrate young girls and women survivors of human trafficking back into society.

But until then, make sure to check out our Instagram to stay up on the finds!
If you haven’t noticed by now, being outside is a must for us during the summer. I know we’ve said it before, but we seriously look for any excuse to get outside and enjoy our beautiful, Southern California weather. But what else can we do while we’re outside besides go to the beach? We can enjoy the garden! We love stepping out to the backyard to see all the beautiful flowers and plants. It’s nice to slow down, unplug from the modern world and get lost in nature. It takes a little work and effort, but it’s so rewarding when the flowers bloom and the garden grows. Plus you get the added bonus of the lovely natural scents when you’re out in the backyard. Check out some of these wonderful garden examples we found and helped us forget we aren’t out there enjoying them.
Have you seen this home designed by Phoebe Howard? This home is amazing! She uses blue so well throughout the home and leaves us wanting more! And we love the subtle hints of green scattered about too! She effortlessly uses a neutral palette to make the blues stand out and really give us something to enjoy. Howard also uses different hues of blue to give the space depth and to create a nice flow throughout the space. This prevents the any color overkill which can happen when designing with one main color. We love the way this home turned out and had to share it with you guys! It truly is inspiring! photos via coastal living
As we were browsing through Lonny’s July/August issue we spotted this beautiful cowhide rug! It looks great in this room! The cowhide rug really adds texture and a unique flare to the space making it a joy to look at. This space was designed with a man’s style in mind and they did a great job doing just that. It really shows the versatility of the cowhide rug and how it can be used for designing with men or women in mind. Get your cowhide rug from our online store here and try something new in your home! Happy Friday!
There are plenty of ways to bring summer into your home. One fun way to show your summer love is to decorate with the color yellow. It’s bright, colorful and really shines! Like the our beloved summer sun. Yellow brings an instant cheerful and happy feeling to any space. It’s a hue that promotes light in the space as well, unlike some of the light absorbing relatives. Because yellow is a bright and bold color, a little goes a long way. Check out some of the pictures in this post for a clear example, but there’s plenty of spaces out there that embrace yellow completely and still manage to do it right. Most importantly, make sure you enjoy your summer inside and outside! And be safe!
